Ottoman Hands

I was recently sent a parcel containing a little pouch from a company called Ottoman Hands. The brand was established in 2009 in London by Deniz Gurdal who regularly travels to Turkey to bring handmade pieces to the UK market. I had seen this jewellery brand before in Topshop Oxford Circus and was impressed by the beautiful pieces but I usually spend my spare money on beauty or make up products so I had never taken the plunge and purchased a piece from the collection. So I was ecstatic when I found a gorgeous pair of earrings from the brand to try and review!

The first thing I noticed was the great quality of the pouch the jewellery is presented in. A lovely little velvet bag with gold finish which makes the product immediately feel luxurious. The earrings themselves are of the same amazing quality, with a sturdy but delicate feel to them and a wonderful detailed finish. The earrings I received are like gold leaves with blue/grey beaded detail and would be suitable for day or evening wear. I very rarely wear earrings because of my job and therefore I often forget to put any in and would always choose a bracelet or necklace ahead of earrings so I was pleased with these because they inspired me to get back into wearing earrings and were the perfect product to reignite my love for statement earrings.

I wore these earrings on a day out and on my birthday evening and they seem to suit every outfit because of the neutral tones in them. I am hoping to buy some more pieces from the range and would definitely recommend the range to anyone who wants to update their jewellery wardrobe and include some statement pieces in their collection. I have my eye on these pieces:

The earrings retail at about £35-£45, the bracelets £38-£44 and the necklaces approximately £80 plus so these are not the most affordable pieces however perfect for gifts for loved ones or individuals who want excellent quality pieces that will stand out from the ordinary.

The range is available in store at Topshop Oxford Circus or you can explore the collection and shop online at www.ottomanhands.com
