When did you start blogging and what inspired you to start?
I started blogging over a year ago now and I absolutely love it :) I really loved reading and writing in school and I really missed it while I was in uni, especially with all the intense stats that I have in my Psychology course. I thought starting a blog would be a great way to get back into writing and would be a really great hobby.
What is your favourite subject to blog on?
I think at the moment I definitely look forward to my NOTW posts on a Friday :) I choosing a new colour each week!
Which beauty item should every girl own?
Mascara. It's amazing how a little bit of mascara can soften your face, even if you're wearing no other make up.
Which make up look are you wearing this season?
I'm not very good at following make up trends, I really wear the very basics. I try to wear blusher and mascara every day and I always put a bit of highlighter under my eyes to make me look a little more awake. I did take a bit of a big step (for me!) and bought my first lipstick this month - it's a nice peachy pink colour and I've started wearing that every day too. I'm a big supporter of a natural make up look and have a bit of a "less is more" philosophy :)

Which beauty products are currently on your wish list?
I would love to expand my lipstick collection now I've bought my first one - I've got my eye on a couple of MAC lippies.
What are your top 3 make up brands and why?
I am a serial repeat buyer with my products as I like to find brands that work well for me and stick with them. Based on this my favourite three brands are:
Lancome - their mascaras are faultless
YSL - cannot live without Touche Eclat
Benefit - love the beautiful packaging and the blushers!
What is your greatest beauty product discovery this year?
It's a hard decision between the Bubblegum lip scrub from LUSH (which I cannot get enough of and keep eating!) and this amazing Hemp Hand Cream that I picked up from the Body Shop , it does such a great job keeping my hands soft in the nasty winter weather.
What is your idea of the perfect pampering evening?
I absolutely love having a big bubbly hot bath watching girly TV shows like New Girl (Zooey Deschanel <3) or reading a good book, doing my nails and maybe sticking a cheeky chocolate face mask on!
If you had one piece of advice for potential bloggers what would it be?
Don't make your blog about gaining followers and popularity, if you're kind and friendly and most importantly yourself, people will be loyal to you and those visiting will be people who are truly interested in what you write.
